TONY HAWK'S AMERICAN WASTELAND Review

If anyone were to think of a GTA game Mixed with a extreme sports game, you would arrive at Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. This Tony Hawk Game goes above and beyond anything this franchise has ever done. It is the first free-roaming Tony Hawk game to date. This game features a massive map of so. cal. in which you can travel through every part of the map without load screens. In fact, the only time you encounter load screens are when you first load up the game. There is alot of new features in this game such as trick-wise, customizations, bikes, and it is now XBOX LIVE compatible. That's right, you can now skate with people in China via XBOX LIVE. As Tony Hawk is known for lately, this game features a pretty cool story. It has you travel all through the map where skating became revoloutionized. The story has alot to do with your character customization wise. Some missions will have you go all the way across the map and get a tattoo, which makes the game pretty interesting. Besides just skating, there is also a new feature, the BMX bike. The bike features all new ways to try out some of the obsatcles in the game as well as some BMX based missions. Other modes in this game are classic mode, xbox live play, and create a modes. The story is not long at all but finding all the gaps will keep you busy for a while. I give this game a 8/10!!
